Disposal of medical waste together with household waste may result in:

• the spread of infectious diseases,

• increased risk of contamination by viruses and bacteria,

• injuries or infections among workers involved in waste collection and transportation,

• chemical and biological pollution of the environment.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to:

• collect medical waste separately from household waste,

• dispose of it only in designated containers,

• avoid throwing used medicines, syringes, or any sharp and cutting objects into household waste.

The sanitary culture and responsibility of each citizen are key to maintaining city cleanliness, environmental safety, and public health.
