Now green initiatives will be financed

Another new opportunity for eco-active youth. Starting from 2026, up to 10 billion soums will be allocated annually to protect the environment, raise environmental awareness, and provide practical support for green ideas.

In this regard, on October 8, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 631.

By government decree, the "Green Initiative Support Fund" has been established under the Youth Affairs Agency, which will finance the following initiatives:

• Projects that enhance love for nature and ecological culture;
• Development of waste recycling, green energy and environmentally friendly technologies;
• Tree planting and care initiatives;
• Youth ideas on climate change and environmental sustainability;
• Video, animation and media projects on the theme of ecology;
• Competitions and promotions on energy saving;
• Initiatives for forest restoration and the development of ecotourism;
• Create eco-challenges and energy-saving mobile apps.
