The process of household waste removal in Tashkent is being fully digitized.

The issue of digitizing the process of collecting and removing household waste was discussed at the Tashkent city administration. The meeting was chaired by Bobur Abdurahimov, Head of the Secretariat for Information Technologies of the city administration, who introduced the participants to the new system - the "Toza Poytaxt" software.

Through this system, waste collection equipment will be attracted on a mahalla-by-mahalla basis and according to the established schedule. The Ecology Committee, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Committee, the National Guard, and the "mahalla seven" will be responsible for their territories.

"Toza Poytaxt" software will be launched as a pilot program in the Almazar district starting tomorrow, and will be gradually implemented in the remaining districts by September 1. The main goal of the project is to ensure the cleanliness of the city, monitor the operation of equipment, and improve the quality of services by controlling the process of waste collection and removal.

Through the new system, it will be possible to monitor the movement of equipment on the inner streets of the mahalla, calculate the volume of waste, assess the quality of services provided to legal entities, and monitor the sanitary condition of central and inner streets. All data is collected automatically, there is no need for human resources. Unfinished work and addresses where waste has not been removed will also be automatically recorded.
