Waste landfill statistics
Do you know how many landfills there are in Uzbekistan?
In total, there are 228 landfills in Uzbekistan. 210 of them are on the balance sheet of the directorate.
Of the 210 landfills, 185 are intended for household waste, which are classified as follows:
132 - in operation;
6 - newly created;
5 - temporarily suspended;
42 - completely closed.
